Over the many years I've been cooking, I've had my share of flops, but these well-seasoned chicken wings have never failed my. Crisp and cheesy, they're outstanding as an appetizer and always draws a crowd.

Parmesan Chicken Wings Recipe
  • Prep: 10 min. Bake: 35 min.

Ingredients

  • 16 whole chicken wings
  • 3/4 cup finely crushed butter-flavored crackers
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions

  • Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tips. In a small bowl, combine cracker crumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil and garlic salt. Dip wings in butter, then roll in crumb mixture. Place in a single layer on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and juices run clear. Yield: 8-10 servings.

Editor's Note: Uncooked chicken wing sections (wingettes) may be substituted for whole chicken wings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (2 each) equals 154 calories, 11 g fat (5 g saturated fat), 32 mg cholesterol, 364 mg sodium, 5 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 8 g protein.

Quick, Easy, and Great! These can be made ahead of time and frozen and taken out and baked when you are ready for them. I love receipes that can be made ahead of time and placed in the freezer, and this is one of them. Eveyone loves them! I've made them many times, and will again. If you are looking for a real crispy wing, this is not the one, but great anyway!

The taste was good, however the wings just weren't as crispy as I would've liked. I think if I increased the oven temp, they would've been more crispy. They cooked up brown, but were more soft than crisp. Still a tasty wing...Thanks for sharing!

I have made these fast and delicious wings for man different occasions. They taste as good at room temperature as they do right out of the oven!
