These quick bites, from Carmeletta Dailey of Winfield, Texas, are great when you're short on time—and you don't even have to turn on the oven. I make them a day or two ahead to let the flavors blend.

My My! These are sooo easy and delicious. Gave some to friends on cookie gift plates...it was fun to watch them looked shocked when I told them they were "no bake"!

These are very good; should the conf. sugar been sifted? I had a bowl of chocolate powder. The only way a ball could be formed was with warmth of my hands and unable to roll them round and round to make a smooth ball.

The next time, I am going to substitute honey for the corn syrup. Otherwise a great recipe!

These were ok, but if I make these again I would cut down on the amount of nuts. I found them to be hard to roll.

I was not sure if it called for vanilla wafers (Nilla Wafers) or vanilla wafers that are like sandwich cookies (pink, cream, and chocolate).

I agree with others who think these taste more like candy than cookies. I made these with milk chocolate chips and replaced the orange juice with citrus flavored rum. They are quite tastey, but I still feel that I need to play around with the recipe a bit more. Not my favorite....yet!

I changed the recipe a little by substituting vanilla wafers with Graham Cracker Crumbs, used Filberts (Hazelnuts) and replaced the Orange Juice with Triple Sec (Orange Liquer) and added plus 2 Tbsp. Orange Rind. Wow - this is more like sinking your teeth into candy. Everyone gives it 5 stars in this family!!

Very, very sweet. I would agree and put it in the candy category before I would call them cookies. Good and easy though.

Was really easy to make, but tasted horrible.

This recipe was so quick and easy to make. I made some rolled in the confectioner's sugar and some in the extra vanilla cookie crumbs I had. If I were to make these again I would try rolling in crushed nuts.
