I make this bread once a week. It's simple and delicious. We use it for sandwiches, toast, french toast and just to nosh on with jam or peanut butter. Excellent must have recipe!

This was excellent. I think the buttermilk gave it a bit of a sourdough flavor. The crust stayed nice and soft even the next day.

I use this recipe all the time and love it. The only change I make is that I use half wheat flour and half white flour to make it more healthy. I also use sunflower oil instead of butter and honey rather than sugar. Delicious!

Excellent flavor. I will add more whole wheat and less white flour next time.

Can also be made without a bread machine.
