100% would make again

To fit in the bread machine, we adjusted the amounts of ingredients to produce only one loaf. This version retails the same sweet taste and tender texture as the original loaf, and there's no need to knead the dough by hand.—Taste of Home Test Kitchen, Greendale, Wisconsin

I love the taste of this wheat bread but it does not rise properly during the baking process. It should be well-rounded as pictured but instead has a cooked but sunken crust. What adjustment should I make to this recipe?

I have finally found a wheat bread recipe that is soft and with a great taste that everyone likes. The wheat flavor is not too over powering and it makes wonderful toast and is also good for sandwiches.

Finally, a wheat bread that my kids will eat! This is a keeper. Thanks.
