I made this recently for a country potluck. It was very good and enjoyed by all. I added a splash of worcestershire sauce for added flavor!
Doubled okra,used a can of hot Rotel instead of tomatoes, and used cajun seasoning instead of salt. Spicy but simple dish.
My ancestors were making this before I was born and I'm 54. I don't think a cup of okra is enough.
this looks like one I might be able to add corn to and come up with another yummy one. I love the combination of corn, tomatoes, and okra together.
