What other types of lemonade are there?
In addition to commercially prepared lemonades in fresh, frozen concentrate and "never from concentrate,"
homemade lemonade is always a crowd-pleaser. Sometimes called "cloudy lemonade," a simple mixture of fresh lemon juice, sugar or honey and water is popular in the U.S. In Ireland, brown lemonade uses brown sugar. In France, a
citron presse is a sort of deconstructed lemonade where the patron is served lemon juice, syrup and water to be mixed at the table to their liking. In India and Pakistan, salt, ginger and cumin may be added to lemonade. In North Africa, lemon juice,
rose water and mint is a refreshing mix.
