I've never done a review for anything, but this is the BEST cake ever. I added some nutmeg, ground ginger, and cinnamon to the cake. I also used an oil/melted butter combo. I cant believe how good this is!!!
So moist and very good! I made with half the sugar and gluten free flour. First cake recipe I’ve made with gluten free flour and couldn’t tell the difference! Delicious!

I made this great recipe for my Christian Womanhood tea today!! It was first sampled by my husband and son warm from oven - they both thought it was the "best dessert they had ever had". Huge success with the girls. It was easy to make and absolutely delicious! Thank you!!!
I have made this recipe several times for family gatherings. It's always a hit!! I was looking for something similar to what my Aunts always made. This cake is easy and tastes fabulous.
I just made this tonight, and had to leave a comment! It's so good! The caramel sauce is a great addition to an already moist and delicious cake! I'll definitely make this again! Best of all, it uses far less oil than traditional apple cake recipes.
