My first batch turned out great. I added chopped pecans to mine, like the brand name sandies, and I will never have to purchase brand name again! Been trying for years to figure out how to make them. I will try cinnamon next time. Sounds good!

I have been using this exact recipe for many years. Good to see someone brought it back. The cookies are good as is but to step it up a bit, I always sprinkle with colored sugar, cinnamon sugar or sprinkles.Yes you can change the flavoring to whatever you like.
