I tinkered with the ingredients in this sangria until it was perfect. It's also good with peach, apple or cherry wine and a dash of vodka. —Patti Leake, Columbia, Missouri

  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 2 bottles (750 milliliters each) sweet white wine
  • 1 bottle (750 milliliters) cranberry wine or 3-1/4 cups cranberry juice
  • Ice cubes
  • 6 cups cold pineapple soda

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the first six ingredients; let stand 30 minutes. Stir in wines. Cover and refrigerate until cold, about 30 minutes.

Sugared Cranberries
Heat 3 tablespoons light corn syrup in microwave until warm; gently toss with 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, allowing excess syrup to drip off. Toss in 1/3 cup sugar to coat. Place on waxed paper; let stand until set, about 1 hour.
