If you’ve been keeping up with fast-food restaurants lately, you’ll know everyone’s sharing secret recipes. Cheesecake Factory and Olive Garden released online cookbooks, and even Disney Parks have been turning out recipes. Now, Shake Shack is upping the ante with a recipe we’ve really been craving.
Shake Shack just released the recipe for its legendary cheese sauce, and we’re already whipping up a batch. (P.S. It pairs great with homemade French fries.)
How to Make Shake Shack’s Cheese Sauce
We’re all serving cheese sauce with dinner tonight. Before you get started, here are the ingredients you’ll need:
- 2 cups American cheese
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 6 thin jalapeno slices
- 3/4 cup onions, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons whole peppercorns
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons white wine
