I, too, found that the baking time needed to be much longer. These bars were a big hit at a picnic I took them to. The only problem I had was in melting the chips and peanut butter for the glaze. It wasn't creamy enough to spread so I had to drop it on in globs which wasn't attractive in the finished product. But peanut butter makes everything taste good!

I love everything about these bars! I've made them several times & will continue to make them.

Everyone who ate these thought they were delicious. The family and a visiting friend couldn't stop eating them! Baking times vary widely according to whatever stove you're using. I baked these for probably around 28 minutes, but shortly after I got a new stove about two years ago, I realized things were just taking longer to bake than they had with my old stove. Now I adjust the oven temperature up by twenty five degrees with whatever I bake, and that has solved the problem. Baking times for any recipe will depend on the baker's stove.

These were very well received at a recent gathering. They are easy to make and make a lot for a large group. I will make them often.

These were a huge hit at a recent party I hosted. I will definitely make them again! had many requests for the recipe. Maybe it's the individual oven(s), mine took 22 minutes.

I agree that the baking time is OFF for the 10 x 15 pan -- I would say it should be at least 30 minutes. Excellent frosting!
