I use the late summer's delicious peaches to make this classic dessert. I especially enjoy the nutmeg flavor.Pat Kinghorn, Morrill, Nebraska

I might have messed this recipe up just a tiny bit. (I was forced to use canned peaches, for one, because my store wasn't selling fresh peaches.) I somehow ended up with a cobbler that wasn't fully cooked. I think, next time, I will use two or three large cans of canned peaches, and double or triple the sugar to match, and then cook it just a little longer. I think if it hadn't been undercooked, this would have been a fabulous recipe. (Afterall, all the edge pieces tasted great!)

This cobbler was very good. I did add some cinnamon to the flour mixture and cut down the butter and sugar a bit. It is pretty sweet even though I did that. I would make it again but think I am more of a "crisp" fan than a "cobbler" fan. But it was delicious!

Very quick and easy to make! I used 6 large peaches and baked it in a large oval casserole. The result was a cobbler I will make again and again!!!

Very Very Good! Easy and very tasty. I doubled everything and baked in a 13 x 9 pan. Didn't run over like some people mentioned. Will make again, but maybe with a little less sugar and butter. If I try with blueberries or apples, do I need to alternate anything. Would love to try with those fruits as well.

Very good. I used more peaches, though. Will definitely put it in my keeper box.

Very Yummy and Very Easy Recipe! I love that it uses fresh peaches for that right from the tree taste! I left out the nutmeg and sprinkled cinnamon on the top instead.

If this recipe overflowed, it could mean that your peaches were huge. This recipe is delicious! I served it for my children and family, they RAVED!! I am fixing it tonight, but I'm going to double the peaches and put it in a 9x13 pan...can't wait to have it hot with our homemade ice cream!

I have the BIGGEST mess in my oven right now!!! Is it suppose to boil over this much? I do not substitute any ingredients and followed the recipe exactly.
