I make a similar cobbler. A stick of melted butter in the pan, 1 cup flour, 1tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk mixed together and pour in pan. I use a can of peach pie filling instead of a can of cling peaches.
Quick easy hubby loves
I love this recipe it is quit and easy not to mention is really good!!!! Love it??
Been making this for years, sometimes I use pears instead. A keeper and simple.
Im now making this for the 3rd time this time adding blueberries to the peaches. Great desert not too sweet easy to make, great for any occasion.
Absolutely delicious and so easy to make. Other than peaches, I always have everything else on hand. I try to keep an extra can in the pantry for dessert "emergencies".
This is the same recipe my mother always made. I use fresh peaches when they're in season. Heating the peaches on the stove draws out the juices and makes the cobbler moister.
I added 1/2 tsp of almond extract & extra fresh peaches. You could add cinnamon or vanilla. More like peach cake, but what's not to like about that.
This recipe is quick and easy to prepare. The cobbler topping has just the right amount of sweetness and is tender. After reading some other reviews, I decided to add less baking powder so that it would not be so cakey. I added about 1/2 teaspoon less and I still thought it was cake like. Still delicious, though! I also think that this recipe needs more peaches. Next time I will add more peaches.
