Favorite Crab Pasta Salad Recipe

Prep/Total Time: 20 min.

Yield: 7 Servings

Ingredients

3 cups uncooked medium pasta shells
1 pound creamy coleslaw
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 teaspoon dill weed
Dash salt
2 cups chopped imitation crabmeat

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large serving bowl, combine the coleslaw, mayonnaise, onion, dill and salt. Stir in crab.
Drain pasta and rinse in cold water. Add to coleslaw mixture; toss to coat. Chill until serving. Yield: 7 servings.

I HAVEN'T TRIED THIS RECIPE BUT IT SOUNDS REALLY GOOD. I DON'T LIKE TO BUY READY MADE THINGS LIKE COLE SLAW IN THE STORE BECAUSE OF THE FAT AND SODIUM SO WHEN I MAKE IT WHICH I WILL I WILL MAKE MY OWN COLE SLAW. I LOVE SEAFOOD SALADS. WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW I LIKE IT. DONALEE2

Good, Great, Fantastic!!!

I used a summer slaw that Farm Fresh has on their salad bar. It is made with cabbage, green peppers, onions and tomatoes. The coleslaw is a very unique twist and excellent addition to this salad. I make crab pasta salad often and never would have thought of this but it will always now be added. Thank you!

Absolutely Wonderful Salad! I omit the creamy coleslaw and add 1 bag of cole slaw then add mayonnaise to our taste.

Excellent!!!

Just pick up your favorite coleslaw from the deli and viola, you have a very delicious salad that is sure to impress.

Even my 'i hate seafood' husband loved this dish.
