This hearty dish is a nice change of pace from more traditional lasagna. The barbecue flavor is fantastic!—Hazel Selle, Hartford, Wisconsin

  • 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 6 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Colby cheese

Great recipe! Don't make this when you've got a craving for regular lasagna because it's totally different, but I was in the mood for something new so this fit the bill. It was even better the next day as leftovers.

AMAZING!!! The only change I made was to use a can of tomato sauce instead of ketchup. Thanks for the recipe!!! My 3year old loved it!
