I made these for a Christmas event because they looked cute in the picture. However, the sweetened condensed milk gave the coconut brownish color and overshadowed the taste of the coconut. Also, when I baked the first pan according to the directions, they crumbled coming off the pan and were wet and sticky. I increased the baking time and they held together but looked more brown. They did not look appetizing like the picture with the contrast of white coconut against the red and green M

Made these for a Christmas party - a big hit. Made again today for a potluck...again a bit husband loves them since he likes coconut. Easy recipe, I left them in 15 minutes for a browner cookie. In my family recipe book.

This is one of my favorite recipes to make. It's so simple! Couldn't find the baking bits but regular M&Ms work just fine. I love making them for the holidays and being able to use the holidays M&Ms
