We eat a lot of peanut butter, so I decided to make my own. I checked the price of peanut butter up here against the cost of making my own and found mine to be much cheaper, with the added value of knowing what goes into it! Not to mention it's a whole lot tastier. —Marge Austin, North Pole, Alaska

"While I have not made this recipe specifically, I have made peanut butter with dry roasted peanuts without adding anything else (using lightly salted dry roasted peanuts). My recipe is actually for chocolate peanut butter! After doing as above with lightly salted peanuts, I add a bag of semi sweet chips with the processor running until desired consistency. Let set a few hours to firm up."
