Because my son's birthday is so close to Halloween, I make this for his party every year. It's always a hit with the kids—they just love it—and there's never any left! —Katheryn Sipos, Canon City, Colorado

"This is a recipe with good premise, but I made some changes. Instead of putting water in the hand, I added lemonade...the flavor just POPS when you do this! I also found molds of rib cages and skulls to make more lemonade pops to float in this. Used grape juice instead of the fruit punch and skipped the sherbet all together...makes it too sicky sweet. Used diet seven up to cut more of the sugar. Was refreshing without putting anyone into a diabetic coma!?"

"This is very tasty. It was a big hit at my daughter's Halloweeen party. I broke some of the fingers off as I was pulling the glove off-it still looked great-it added to the creepiness."

"Had this at my recent Halloween party and wasn't too impressed. The flavor was alittle weak. Great idea with the hand!!!"

"This is a fantastic idea, and the punch which I've made before with all sorts of sherbet has always been a hit!

The idea to tie off one finger is even better! I'd add a little dab of the PASTE red food coloring in that finger, maybe even a bit of purple or black too that finger also lol. Just make sure it's the paste food coloring, the liquid food coloring will mix right away with the water and you'll get a different look to your hand that way lol. I love the idea of coloring the hand all green too, with maybe a dab of black paste food coloring at the tips.
Lots of fun ideas coming to mind with it!"
