Ingredients

  • 4 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, saute onions in oil over medium heat until tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in vinegar and brown sugar. Cook for 10 minutes longer or until onions are golden. Yield: 4-6 servings

"My husband and I love grilled or sautéed onions so this recipe was very good. I might put a little less sugar in next time just to cut out some calories."
