This lasagna-like entree takes me back to my childhood. I got the recipe from a friend's mother, who fixed it for us when we were kids. I made a few changes to it, but it's still quick and delicious. Dallas McCord Reno, Nevada

The flavor was beyond what i had hoped for! My husband and i both loved it! It certainly did make a lot, we will have leftovers for a few days. I will absolutely make it again.

My husband is not a big pasta fan but he liked this. I used hot Italian sausage so it had a little bite to it. I used fat free sour cream and cream cheese so it helped reduce the calories because of the sausage. I will definitely make this one again and maybe even try it with hamburg.

I have made this SEVERAL times, it's a favorite in my family, and I've always used turkey sausage, fat free sour cream and fat free cream cheese. I don't know what it tastes like any other way, but I can for sure say it's amazing with the above mentioned revisions!!

Very good. Quick and easy to make. Great as leftovers, too.

Sinfully delicious! My family loved this. I did not use the whole box of penne and it worked out perfectly.

I made it for my family twice in one week then made it at my Mom's. They loved it so much and she makes it all the time now.

Huge amount of calories, but could be cut down using low-fat/non-fat items and turkey sausage. We used italian spiced sausage and it turned out well, however I think it was better the next day. It seemed to need time to let all the flavors meld together.

My whole family loved this recipe. It was very easy to prepare and the flavor is wonderful. It will be one that we make often.

My other review should have been 5 stars, but it won't let me change it.
Everyone in out house loves this recipe. Because it is such a heavy dish, we normally only make it every few months, but when we do the leftovers are always gone the next day.
