These savory pork air-fryer sausage patties are quick to prepare on a moment's notice, but you can also mix a couple of batches and have them ready to go in your freezer. Just pop them the air fryer for about 10 minutes and breakfast is ready! —Carole Thomson, Komarno, Manitoba

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/3 cup 2% milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 1 pound sage bulk pork sausage

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°. In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Crumble sausage over mixture and mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 6 patties.
  2. Place patties in a single layer on greased tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until meat is no longer pink, 8-10 minutes, turning once.

Prepare uncooked patties and freeze, covered, on a foil-lined baking sheet until firm. Transfer patties to a freezer container; return to freezer. To use, cook frozen patties as directed, increasing time as necessary for a thermometer to read 160°.
