- 1 pound medium fresh mushrooms
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix
- In a 3-qt. slow cooker, layer mushrooms and onion. Combine butter and salad dressing mix; pour over vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until vegetables are tender. Serve with a slotted spoon. Yield: 6 servings.

These were very tasty. Just a little to salty, so next time I will cut back on the seasoning packet mix. I think that it cutting it by 1/2 will still give you that rich, wonderful taste without the salt.
It was a perfect topping to out Pulled Pork sandwiches.

Great taste! Can serve as a side dish or, if the mushrooms were cut in smaller pieces, it would make an excellent gravy to accompany any meat. Such simple ingredients, yet has a extraordinary taste.

This receipe was awesome. Great way to serve mushrooms. I only left them in crock pot for 3 hours. Very tasty.
