Whoa, that was good! Our whole family said this is the best of all the homemade ice cream recipes that we've tried so far. Tastes like lemon bars withour the bars. We used fresh lemon peel and freshly squeezed juice. I didn't have enough whipping cream so we subbed about a third of it with half and half. Perfect!
