Great recipe. Make sure you dry the cherries with papertowel before dipping in the melted Chocolate. Adorable and a huge hit at my office party!!!

My daughter brought a Christmas mouse home from a Christmas party 13 years ago and we have made them every Christmas since. We melt chocolate bark to dip the cherries in. One fourth of a pkg will make 3 dozen mice. We set the mice on top of a white-chocolate dipped oreo cookie.

This is an awsome recipe to make for a cookie exchange or just too WOW! your friends, and soooooooo.... easy to make. would definantly be a good sell at a bake sale for Christmas.

I have made these many times. They are cute on a cookie plate even if you don't use the oreos. I use melted edible paraffin wax with the chocolate chips instead of shortening for all my chocolate dipped cookies and candies - it makes the chocolate smooth and really easy to dip.

I made these years ago and didn't know where my recipe was. Thank goodness for the internet! Found it in a few minutes compared to looking thru books for hours. I love these little mice and I'm going to make them for our monthly quilting group!
