Strawberry Cake Recipe Rating 4

This fresh-tasting cake with its pretty pink tint took center stage at the reception for my farmer cousin, Scott Kittelmann, and his wife, Kathy.

This cake was delicious! Not to mention inexpensive and very easy to make. In between the layers I put whipped cream and cut strawberries for an extra boost and it was fantastic! I also used whipped cream to ice which left everyone that tried it wanting more!

Very yummy with lots of fresh strawberry flavor! I liked it best baked in 2 lined jelly roll pans. Frost the one cake, then flip the 2nd one on top, so the frosting is in the middle.
