"When I made these cookies for my boys while they were growing up, it was a real challenge to keep them away from the kitchen to let these cookies cool. I still make these mouthwatering morsels for my "boys" today."Ardys Smith, Palo Alto, California

I bake cookies often and pondered about making this cookie for a long time before finally baking them last week. They went like wildfire and the boys are begging for more.

I was skeptical about how good these would be. The recipe name can lead me astray. Shouldnt have worried- these cookies are yummy! Will be making them again!

These were good but not my kid's favorite. In fact, she wouldn't even eat them! I did substitute a few chocolate chips for the candy bar on top, so I'm sure they were less chocolatey that they are supposed to be. I might make them again, but I doubt it.

Well, I changed these a bit (cut the sugar in half, substituted 1 c. white whole wheat flour for 1 c. of white), but they were delicious! Light, not dense, a little crispy.

I bake cookies at least every 2-4 weeks year round and about 5-8 batches for the holidays and I think this might be the best recipe I've tried. They're incredible. I almost passed right over them because the title didn't say much. Don't. I would call them Everyone's favorite cookies. Make these and try them. Wow! I followed the recipe exactly.
