Tip

What Types of Nuts?

Taste of Home recipes specify if nuts are to be salted, dry roasted or toasted. In baking recipes, raw nuts are generally used. A traditional Waldorf salad recipe calls for raw walnuts; however, there are many variations on this favorite.
