  • 18 Oreo cookies
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1/4 cup 2% milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup biscuit/baking mix
  • Confectioners' sugar

  1. On each of eighteen 4-in. wooden skewers, thread 1 cookie, inserting pointed end of skewer into filling if desired. Freeze until firm, about 1 hour.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 350°. Cut pieces of parchment to fit the bottom of the air fryer. In a shallow bowl, whisk together egg, milk and extract; add biscuit mix and stir just until moistened. Dip cookie into biscuit mixture to coat both sides; shake off excess. Place a sheet of parchment in air fryer; spray parchment with cooking spray. In batches, arrange cookies in a single layer 1/2 in. apart, placing 1 cookie in each corner of the paper so it doesn't fly around during cooking.
  3. Cook until golden brown, 5-7 minutes. Dust with confectioners' sugar before serving.
Air-Fryer Oreos Tips

What kind of Oreos should you use to make air-fryer Oreos?

You can use either regular Oreos or Double Stuf Oreos in this recipe. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also play around with different flavored Oreos, such as chocolate or birthday cake.

How do you store air-fryer Oreos?

Although air-fryer Oreos are best consumed fresh, to store, allow the cookies to cool to room temperature before sealing into an airtight cookie container with a paper towel to absorb moisture. Keep them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but be aware that they'll get softer with time. (They can also be re-crisped in the air-fryer for 3-4 minutes.)

Do you need to flip the air-fryer Oreos halfway through cooking?

It's a good idea: Flipping these air-fryer Oreos halfway through cooking can help them crisp more evenly. Read more air-fryer tips from our Test Kitchen to get the most from your favorite new countertop appliance.
