Vinegar and yogurt give this salad a refreshing tang that's unlike typical potato salads with heavy creamy dressings. My family loves the crispness of the onion and celery and the heartiness that comes from the eggs and crumbled bacon.

A new, zippy version of the old favorite, this refreshing potato salad is sure to please! Horseradish gives it a delightfully different flavor. Try it for your next family gathering or picnic.

I make this salad for all occasions—it goes well with any kind of meat. I often take this salad to potlucks, and there's never any leftover. The celery, carrots and dry mustard are a special touch not usually found in traditional German potato salad. —Betty Perkins, Hot Springs, Arkansas
I do some catering, so I'm always looking for good new recipes. I love to take this deliciously different potato salad to potlucks and cookouts. Even folks who are reluctant to try it at first come back for more!

One of the nice things about this salad is how versatile it is. I've taken it to a potluck...to a square dance gathering...and to the field for my husband and the men during haying season! As part of a lunch, it goes well with cold meat, like roast beef, chicken or ham, and buns.
We raised Limousin cattle on the exact quarter section where Barry's dad raised Black Angus for years. We don't have children—but two active bearded collies liven up the place plenty.
