Family-Pleasing Sloppy Joe Sandwiches Recipe

My grandchildren love these sandwiches. I like the recipe because it can be made ahead of time and keeps well in a slow cooker. I've found that it freezes well, too. —Patricia Ringle, Edgar, Wisconsin

"My very picky husband said they were very good! My stepson took the rest with him. I followed the recipe exactly. Was worried about the allspice but don't be. They were easy to put together and had most ingredients already at the house except the buns. This is the kind of recipe I enjoy! Thanks!"
