I've prepared these sandwiches for years. I've tried many sloppy joe recipes, but this one is the best by far. It also travels well for picnics or potlucks.--Eleanor Mielke, Snohomish, Washington

Since there is just the two of us. I cut the recipe in half. I make my own buns and this recipe fit them just right. I have been looking for a recipe like this so I don't have to use can stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Not my favorite Sloppy Joe Recipe. Mustard taste is too strong. If I were to make it again, I'd half the mustard. I do like the kick from the chili powder.

Awesome!! I have never had Sloppy Joes b/c of what was in them. This is the best recipe, my kids loved the cheese on it. I would totatlly reccomend it, very kid friendly!

great quick meal... cheap, and pretty tasty too! I halved the recipe and left out the water. the only thing I wish s that it was a big saucier. I might just half the meat next time and keep the same sauce measurements
