These festive cookies remind my family of after dinner mints. With my husband and our two children munching on these chocolaty treats with cool mint filling, a batch never stays around long. Annette Esau, Durham, Ontario

I've been making these cookies since they first appeared in Taste of Home back in the 90's. I get rave reviews and even 'orders' for more every time!

I love these cookies. The dough is so easy to work with. I make them each year for the cookie exchange at the church. I have even made them with just the filling on top, instead of putting them together.
