"Let's all please take a moment and be awesomely honest,... SPLENDA has a HORRIBLE aftertaste. So what is the point of enjoying a treat, only to have the afterglow of that lovely treat interrupted,- by that bitter "cream of tarter" like "too much sodium driven" aftertaste? Sorry, but I really wish that the makers of Splenda would eliminate that negative aftertaste. Then, Splenda would taste amazing!!!,-- right in this very recipe even!"

"I think this recipe was delicious. Especially considering that iced tea is normally consumed on hot and humid summer days when your sugar and hydration levels need to be maintained, I don't really see too much of a problem with the sweetness. As afore mentioned, use a sugar substitute if the amount used is a concern. "

"How can it be good for you with 7.5 cups of sugar"

"If you notice it's 7.5 cups of sugar but it makes 5 batches which equals 1.5 cups per serving like everyone is suggesting. Sounds good to me!"
