Take summery iced tea into fall and winter by stirring in pear nectar and adding a fresh pear slice to each glass as a garnish. A little honey provides an extra touch of sweetness.
- 6 individual green chai tea bags
- 3 cups boiling water
- 3 cups pear nectar
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/3 cup honey
- Thin pear slices
- Steep tea in water for 3 minutes; discard tea bags. Cool. Refrigerate until chilled.
- In a pitcher, combine the pear nectar, lemon juice, honey and chilled tea. Garnish each serving with a pear slice. Yield: 6 servings.
