100% would make again

There's just something extra special about homemade applesauce. This simple recipe is tart and not too sweet. It makes the perfect side dish, especially with pork chops or a pork roast.—Deborah Amrine, Grand Haven, Michigan

Great and so easy! Added extra cinnamon and a little nutmeg. For a special treat top with some Redi Whip type topping and its like eating apple pie with no crust!!

This was a pretty easy recipe to make, my husband LOVED it, but i thought it was a litle to cinnamonie for me. I also had to drain off the liquid before mashing because of how much came out of the apples.
