Why I Love It

On the first chilly fall morning, I was eager to take a trip to Halloween Town. I brewed a pour-over cup of each flavor, using a ratio of two tablespoons of grounds to six ounces of water. Here are my thoughts on each flavor.
- Santa Jack Cranberry Creme Brûlée: This blend was warm and toasty—like sitting next to a fire. I didn’t pick up much of a cranberry note, but the sweet creme brûlée flavor shines.
- Frog’s Breath Chocolate Mole: Maybe it was the color on the bag, but I’m convinced this blend is chocolate mint rather than mole. I got sweet and slightly spicy notes and an intoxicating aroma.
- Ruff Weather Oatmeal Cream Pie: There’s a reason coffee goes so well with sweet treats. And this blend makes you think you’re eating a cookie or doughnut alongside the morning brew.
- The Pumpkin King Pumpkin Pecan Praline: It’s official: This is my new favorite fall coffee. It’s nutty, it’s spicy, it’s smooth—I will happily drink this from September all the way through Thanksgiving.
- Mudslide Boogie: Kahlua fans, this one’s for you. While not quite as potent as the real deal, this blend really does have notes of the iconic cocktail.
