Quick & Easy Chocolate Sauce

Mom made this fudgy sauce to drizzle on cake, and we like it over ice cream, too. —Janice Miller, Creston, Iowa

    2-1/4 cups


  • 12 ounces (2 cups) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • In a small heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 2 minutes.
  • Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator. Warm gently before serving.

    Three ingredients, one pan, and in no time at all you have a lovely, delicious sauce that's great for pouring over ice cream, drizzling on frozen bananas. It would be great with angel food cake and strawberries. It's also great by the spoonful, straight from the fridge ;)

    Don't have a review, but want to know how to reheat this sauce once it's been refrigerated.

    Delicious! Literally, so quick and easy to make! I served this ganache-like sauce over vanilla ice cream - yum!!
