  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups uncooked instant rice
  • 1 cup frozen peas


  1. Bring water, butter and salt to a boil in a large saucepan. Add rice and peas. Cover and remove from the heat. Let stand for 5-7 minutes or until all of the water is absorbed.
