McDonald’s Frozen Hawaiian Punch Is Here, and We Can’t Wait to Try It

Updated: Jan. 09, 2024

This one is for the inner child in all of us!

Mickey D’s definitely has our hearts when it comes to drinks. It’s no secret that Coke tastes better at McDonald’s than anywhere else, and with a little creativity, you can even get a Coke Float at the golden arches.

McDonald’s added to the fun with a new fruity drink. That delectable beverage? Iconic, sweet, tangy, bright-red Hawaiian punch, frozen to slushie perfection! Here’s how to get yours ASAP.

What We Know About Frozen Hawaiian Punch

According to the McDonald’s website, Frozen Hawaiian Punch is “the frozen drink bursting with over eight bold, tropical fruit flavors.” And what are those eight fruit flavors? I’m not sure anyone knows exactly, but the company claims they include pineapple, passionfruit, papaya and guava. YouTube reviewer Peep This Out! has described it as “very strong, very tart” and “an explosion of fruity goodness.” He added that its “grit your teeth sweet[ness] was balanced by its sour notes, giving it “almost a Sour Patch Kids type of vibe.”

The Frozen Hawaiian Punch appears to be a thick but sippable slushie consistency, like McDonald’s Frozen Fanta Blue Raspberry or Frozen Coca-Cola Classic. In the video, it stays remarkably frosty and chilled throughout the entire test run, making it an optimal thirst quencher.

Finally, the McDonald’s Frozen Hawaiian Punch comes in three sizes—small, medium and large—which contain 60, 70 and 110 calories, respectively. A medium Frozen Hawaiian Punch will cost about $1.80, depending on where you buy it. For those with food allergies, the Frozen Hawaiian Punch does contain red dye 40.
