Cran-Apple Waldorf Salad

- 1 medium apple, chopped
- 1 celery rib, chopped
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- In a serving bowl, combine the apple, celery and cranberries. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice. Pour over apple mixture and toss gently to coat.

A cool fresh tasting salad i add grapes and pecans . I triple the recipe . We enjoy this salad and have been told by others how good it is.

I've used dried currants (next to the raisins at the store) in this recipe. I also add walnuts - more like restuarants serve then.

This fresh-tasting salad is definitely worth trying. I added blueberries and chopped nuts for extra color and crunch. An easy and nice change from tossed salads.
