How to Order a Peanut Butter Bash Sundae at Dairy Queen

Updated: Feb. 15, 2022

Dairy Queen's Peanut Butter Bash was discontinued years ago—but there's still a way to order one.

Everyone knows that no matter how cold it gets outside, it’s always a good time for ice cream. Yes, even over here in the Midwest where we’re dealing with snow and temperatures of 0°F. You’ll still catch me strolling over to DQ to grab a Red Velvet Blizzard!

But sometimes, we’ve had everything the menu can possibly offer. (I eat a lot of ice cream.) So when I hear about a new Dairy Queen secret menu item, you know I have to try it!

How to Order the Dairy Queen Peanut Butter Bash

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably ordered a Jack and Jill sundae already. Anything with marshmallow and chocolate is just asking for me by name at this point. But lucky for us, that’s not the only secret menu item making an appearance this year.

TikTok user @dqshelbytwpmi keeps givin’ us the DQ goods, and we’re here for it.

While this item is no longer on the official menu, your local DQ should still have all the ingredients on hand. You start with hot fudge and peanut butter sauce at the bottom of a sundae cup, then swirl vanilla soft serve. Then, swoop back in with the hot fudge and peanut butter sauce all over. Finish it off with some chocolate chunks!

If your DQ doesn’t know a “Peanut Butter Bash” by name, simply order a hot fudge and peanut butter sundae with chocolate chunks on top.

Is There a Dairy Queen Secret Menu?

Yes! The Dairy Queen secret menu includes fan-favorites like the Butterbeer Blizzard. Just order a vanilla Blizzard in your preferred size. Then ask for butterscotch syrup, vanilla syrup and Butterfinger crumbles. Don’t forget to add lots of whipped topping!

If you’re an Oreo fan, then the Cookie Jar Blizzard will become your new regular. It’s an Oreo Blizzard with cookie dough pieces blended in. Honestly, I think I’d go the extra step and order some brownie bits in there, too. We love a little bit of everything!
