Ingredients
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced and zested
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
Lemon slices, for garnish
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
Squeeze the lemon juice over the shrimp and sprinkle with lemon zest and chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toss the shrimp in the lemon garlic butter sauce until well coated.
Remove from heat and transfer the shrimp to a serving platter. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley.
