When deciding which NutriBullet is right for you, think about what exactly you’ll be using it for. Will you be making smoothies with frozen fruit? Juicing whole fruits and vegetables? Puréeing cooked foods? Once you’ve determined your needs, consider the following points:
Motor Power
Select a motor with higher wattage if you regularly process tough ingredients like ice, nuts, seeds, firm vegetables or frozen veggies. Luckily, NutriBullet makes figuring out which models can handle tougher jobs fairly easy, as the product descriptions outline what kinds of food products can be blended by any given blender. Furthermore, the models often come with a number in the name (like 600 or 900), which indicates the motor’s size—the higher the number, the greater the power output. The range is typically from 600-1,200 watts.
That being said, you should always adhere to the manufacturer’s recommendations; thinking it’s fine to blend something your blender isn’t designed to handle, even once, could result in irreparable damage. You may need to replace parts or the whole blender, and using your blender in this manner will definitely void the warranty.
