I found this recipe on the internet and was curious to try it as it is not your 'typical' breadstick recipe. I made them and they passed the taste test with flying colors! I think the biggest bonus is that they can be mixed up and ready to serve in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

1/3 cup butter
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
2 Tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tablespoon sugar
3 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
½ teaspoon garlic power

Directions

Heat oven to 400° F. Melt butter in 9x13 baking pan in oven(3-5 minutes).

Meanwhile, stir together flour, cheese, sugar and baking soda in medium bowl. Stir in milk just until moistened. Turn dough onto floured surface; knead until smooth (1 minute). Cut dough into 12 pieces. Roll each piece into short rope. (approx. 9 inches long).

Stir rosemary and garlic into melted butter in pan. Dip breadstick rope into herbed butter mixture and place in same pan.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes are until lightly browned.
