Fresh Fruit Sauce Recipe
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 cup sliced fresh peaches
- 1 cup sliced fresh plums
- Vanilla ice cream
- 1. In a small saucepan, mix cornstarch and orange juice until smooth; stir in honey. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir until thickened, about 1 minute.
- 2. Remove from heat; stir in fruit. Serve warm over ice cream. Yield: 2-1/4 cups.

"I made this for my sour cherries. I didn't have quite enough honey so I substituted half corn syrup. I made a triple batch and threw in an extra cup of cherries, so 7 cups of fruit. It tastes divine. I will freeze some in mason jars. I plan to serve it over sliced pound cake and a little fresh fruit with whipped cream."
