Pull-Apart Garlic Bread Recipe

People go wild over this golden, garlicky loaf whenever I serve it. There’s intense flavor in every bite. —Carol Shields, Summerville, Pennsylvania
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 10 min. + rising Bake: 30 min. YIELD:16 servings


  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 loaf (1 pound) frozen white bread dough, thawed


  • 1. In a small bowl, combine the butter, parsley, garlic powder and garlic salt. Cut dough into 1-in. pieces; dip into butter mixture. Layer in a greased 9x5-in. loaf pan. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  • 2. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 1 loaf.

"Like KristineChayes, I used fresh parsley and increased the garlic powder. I used whole wheat dough. This is easy to make. We had the bread with stew and I reheated the rest to go with our pasta dinner. (I wrapped the leftovers in HD foil, refrigerated it, and reheated it...came out like just baked!)
