Reviews for Cranberry Feta Pinwheels
"A co-worker made these for a "healthier holiday recipe potluck" and I literally could not stop eating these!! I make then throughout the holiday season and am so happy that I tried these! (I was a bit afraid of feta and cranberry mixed :-P)"
"Made for Christmas and they were very pretty. However, no one really ate them. I would not make the again."
"I made these for a buffet set-up, everyone loved them! Don't omit the green onion, it really made the flavors come together. It was sweet yet savory. They are easy to make and should be made ahead then sliced. I would make these again."
"I keep ingredients on hand during the holiday. always a favorite."
"Absolutely phenomenal! Had these at a baby shower and had to get the recipe. I omitted the onions, and it still tasted fantastic!"
"Absolutely delicious and really visually appealing. My family of carnivores required the addition of turkey (we used deli slices) which was stellar, but I'd bet chicken, ham or turkey would all be awesome."
"These are great! Its a little hard to convince my family to try new things but these went over really well."
"Yummy, quick, colorful, my teen even makes a tiny batch of these for lunch sometimes! Very good for at the holidays!!!"
"Its time for our Xmas potluck and for the fourth year in a row I've been asked to bring these delicious appetizers. They're such a hit!"
"These are easy to make, pretty presentation, and taste delicious. Perfect for theholiday season. I think the filling would make a great cheeseball as well."
"Quick and easy to make and everyone seemed to really love it,had several people ask for the recipe."
"I made these for our family Christmas celebration and they were wonderful. Very tasty and we love feta and cream cheese."
"This was amazing! It got rave reviews at the holiday party I made them for. The recipe has been sent all over. I made them with green wraps for the holiday season. They diappeared!!!!!"
"This is a huge hit whenever I make it and I get many requests for the recipe so now I always have some copies of the recipe with me when I take it to potlucks. I have substitued cottage cheese for feta on a couple of occasions and everyone still gobbles them up. I probably double the green onions - I like the flavour as well as the extra colour. This is in with the favourites!!!"
"I love this recipe. In the fall, I make it with sundried tomato tortillas and use diced up dried apricots in place of the cranberry--gives it a nice, harvesty color scheme!"
"This recipe was a big winner with my family. I will make it again for the holidays."
"These didn't taste too cranberry-ish, and were a lovely summer afternoon dish in the backyard. Easy to make and to eat when sitting with friends. Even the guys loved them!"
"The feta cheese added a great flavour, I suggest using less instead of leaving it out completely. By the way, I also added a little more onions, it made a difference."
"This is an excellent appetizer. All my guests loved it and have even asked for the recipe. Even if you don't like cranberries you would love these pinwheels. Easy to make."
"I think my family would have liked them better without the feta cheese. sc"
"I brought a plate of these appetizers to a holiday pot luck at my office a couple of years ago. Everyone liked them, but one co-worker in particular was crazy about them. He and I agreed that the cheese/green onion/dried cranberry mixture would be equally good as a spread for crackers."
