The Best Fast- Food Chicken Sandwich

White Scribbled Underline

We stopped at eight different restaurants to find out which makes the best fast-food chicken sandwich.

Here's what we found!

Scribbled Arrow

8. White Castle

The $2.09 Crispy Chicken Slider was the least expensive (and the smallest).

Bottom line: Sliders are always fun to eat, but this sandwich needs improvement to compete.

White Scribbled Underline

7. Burger King

This $5.29 hand-breaded chicken patty is served on a toasted bun with mayonnaise.

Bottom line: If the chicken hadn’t been overcooked and had more moisture, it would've placed higher.

White Scribbled Underline

6. McDonald's

This one is $4.49 and served on a toasted bun with sliced pickles, but without any sauce.

Bottom line: A convenient fast-food option, but their chicken sandwich didn’t rank as high as others.

White Scribbled Underline

5. Culver's

Here, the chicken is served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato and pickles, but no sauce. It costs $4.29.

Bottom line: The balance of veggies to chicken just felt distracting.

White Scribbled Underline

4. Wendy's

For $5.39, this one comes with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and pickles on a toasted bun.

Bottom line: A solid chicken sandwich, but it tastes a bit processed.

White Scribbled Underline

3. KFC

For $4.99, you get a well-seasoned chicken patty served on a toasted bun with mayo and pickles.

Bottom line: While this sandwich certainly satisfied, there were still a couple that were even better!

White Scribbled Underline

2. Chick-fil-A

For $4.75, it comes with pickles, and is served on a perfectly buttery toasted bun.

Bottom line: In the end, the best fast-food chicken sandwich comes down to a matter of preference.

White Scribbled Underline

1. Popeye's

Priced at $4.49, this delicious sandwich comes with mayo and very impressive pickles.

Bottom line: The incredible crunchy chicken, pickles and beautiful bun made Popeye's the overall best.
