This quick-and-easy mix uses only 1 pound of ground beef, yet it can be used to make an assortment of beef recipes. One easy mix for endless delicious possibilities.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons 2% milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)

Directions

In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Divide into four portions; place in Ziploc® Fresh Shield® Twist ‘n Loc® Containers. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before using. Yield: 4 portions.
