- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 to 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash crushed red pepper flakes
- Place first five ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until broccoli is crisp-tender, 5 minutes. Drain. Toss with pepper flakes. Yield: 4 servings.
